Information about cookies and personal data

HTTP cookie, personal data

What are cookies?

Cookies are computer data, especially text files, stored in user's terminal equipment, intended for using websites. These files allow for identification of user's device and properly display a web page tailored to their individual preferences. Cookies typically contain name of the website from which they come, storage time on a terminal device and a unique number.

Why do we use cookies?

Cookies are used to adjust the content of web pages to user's preferences and to optimise their use. These files are also used to create anonymous, aggregated statistics that allow an analysis of how websites are used, which contributes to an improvement in their structure and content, except for personal identification of the user.

What cookies do we use?

There are two types of cookies we use on our website:
  • "Session" cookies - temporary files stored in the terminal equipment of the user until the user leaves the website, logs off or shuts down the web browser.
  • "Permanent" cookies - stored in the terminal equipment of the user for a period of time specified in the parameters of cookies, or until they are manually removed by the user.

Possibility to determine the conditions of storage of cookies and granting access to cookies:

The user can independently and at any time change settings for cookies, specifying the terms of storing and access granted to cookies on user's device. Changes to the settings can be made adjusting web browser settings or by means of service configuration. These settings can be changed in the settings of your web browser to block the automatic handling of cookies or to inform whenever cookies are to be located on user's device. Detailed information about the possibilities and ways of handling cookies is available in settings of your web browser.
The user may, at any time, remove cookies using features available in the web browser. Nevertheless, reducing the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the website.
